A Brief History of the Company

Established by David Green in 1984, Greens has grown progressively over the years, from a small operation employing only a few decorators to the size it is now, a firm recognised as a leading regional contractor, capable of dealing with projects of any size.

Currently, Greens directly employs over 50 professional decorators and operates a fleet of 20 vehicles, ensuring that we are flexible enough to deal with projects of all sizes.
In 1997, Greens completed its first million pound contract requiring up to 100 professional decorators on site at any one time.

Despite our continuing growth, Greens remains family owned and run and our commitment to both quality and customer service remains as strong as ever. When choosing a painting and decorating contractor, Greens stand out from the crowd as a firm that has the resources to competitively deal with contracts up to and in excess of one million pounds but at the same time, our customers can be confident they are dealing with a family run business that genuinely cares about its reputation and takes pride in every job, big or small.
