Painting & Decorating at Height

Here at Greens we work on a wide range of projects from the simple repainting of internal walls to much bigger projects that call upon the skills and qualifications of all our members of staff. One area of work that requires lots of planning, health and safety and trained IPAF drivers is painting and decorating at height. We’ve recently worked on a number of projects that have required various pieces of access equipment such as scissor lifts, tracked access platforms and boom lifts. With that mind we thought we’d share a few pictures:

We recently worked on the exterior warehouse repainting”>exterior repainting of an industrial warehouse in Leeds. This job required a large articulated boom which our team of IPAF trained operatives manned to prepare cladding, strip down defective paintwork and apply 2 new coats of metal shield paint.

Often powered acccess equipment is required for internal redecoration and this was the case here at a large Bradford based factory. Greens had the job of repainting the furnace area which required an articulated boom platform; this allowed us to clean up the soot deposits and repaint the surface both with a primer and industrial masonry paint to minimise any further build up.

Not all of our work revolves around industrial properties and the picture above shows a recent project of our team working on the exterior of a former public house that was to be turned into a restaurant. Working next to a main road with high footfall our operatives had to ensure that the area was cordoned off sufficiently to ensure that both passers by, traffic and our work force were safe whilst work was undertaken.

If you would like to speak to our team about an refurbishment project that requires the use of access equipment, please fill out our contact form.
