Rotherham Council
As all construction and decorating work draws to a close in preparation for the grand opening of the new Rotherham Council building which Greens were commissioned to decorate on behalf of GMI construction, a problem was encountered with the application of vinyl lettering used to signpost work areas within the new building.
Unfortunately due to the temperature in the building and the emulsion finish of the walls, the vinyl lettering failed to adhere properly and was not expected to provide the heavy-duty finish that was expected.
Greens were able to overcome this problem with the assistance of Paul Turner Signwriters who were able to provide high quality vinyl stencils of the numbers and letters necessary.
Using a specialist paint absorbing tape, our team of decorators applied the stencils to the walls before painting over them in a variety of different colours.
The stencils were then carefully removed to leave highly durable and razor sharp images.
