Recently we have carried out conservation repairs at a bespoke church in Leeds. The aging church was in need of repairs which required a team of specialists to carry out the works.
To fix the walls and ceiling we hacked off and re-plastered the damaged areas to create a smooth surface. A specialist plastering team were brought in to repair the cornice and match to the existing one throughout. Additionally the building was showing signs of age’s cracks particularly on areas of the ceiling. To create a paintable surface we used a tower to access the high areas then filled and sanded down in preparation for the next stage. Colours were matched to the original décor and re-painted throughout.
Our client at Garforth Methodist church was extremely pleased with the work we carried out.
